I’m trying to practice my "killing part" but every time I try to look sexy or cute, I just end up laughing at myself.

How do idols do it so naturally?! I feel like a broken robot when I try to do a 'half-smirk.' Does it get easier with time, or should I just keep practicing until I lose my sense of shame? lol. Help a sister out!

hey guys, diamond here! so i’ve been practicing like crazy, but lately i’ve been overthinking the "how" part.

living in Singapore, i see lots of global auditions, but it still feels so far away. i’m curious—for those of you in Southeast Asia (or anywhere outside Korea), what’s your actual plan?

are you guys focusing on:

Online Auditions: Just sending clips to the big labels and hoping for a callback?
Local Academy Auditions: Waiting for recruiters to come to our local dance studios?
Moving to Seoul first: Saving up to go to a K-pop camp or language school in Korea to get closer to the action?

it’s kinda scary because there's no set "roadmap" for us. do companies care if we're not 100% fluent in Korean yet? and how do we handle the visa stuff if we actually get a trainee contract?

if anyone has experience or even just a "master plan," please share! let's help each other out because the SEA talent is seriously underrated.

Hii guys! So I’ve been overthinking my audition prep lately. When they ask "What’s your hobby?", what do u guys actually say? My real hobby is literally just running, but I’m lowkey scared it sounds way too basic.

I don't want to fake a hobby because I’ll definitely have a "jump scare" moment if they ask follow-up questions lol. But I also want to show that "Star Quality" and not just be another face in the crowd. Should I make my running sound more "main character" energy? Like, "running to build my stage endurance" or something?

I hate this question the most! lol. I don't want to say something generic like "I work hard" or "I love music" because everyone says that.

Should I talk about my hobbies? Or maybe a weird talent? (like my bird sounds lol). I want to sound confident but also humble. How did u guys describe yourselves in your last audition? Let's brainstorm some "cool" answers!

I’ve been struggling with this lately. I love dancing more, but people always tell me my voice is my best "weapon."

When filling out audition forms, should i just pick one? or is it better to be an "All-Rounder"? I'm scared if i say "All-Rounder" it might look like i'm not a master of anything. 😭 What position are u guys applying for?

I’m filming my audition clip for YG next week. I’m a mezzo-soprano and I want to show my range but also my tone. Should I go with a K-pop song or an English pop song? Any advice on the lighting/background too?

Okay, let’s get real for a sec. We all spend hours practicing to be "perfect," but what happens when things go totally south during an audition?

Imagine you’re hitting the high note and… ACHOO! Or you’re about to drop the beat and the music just… stops. It’s literally everyone’s nightmare, right?

But I heard from a mentor that scouts actually love it when things go wrong because they get to see your real personality. It’s called Crisis Management Skills.

Here’s how to turn a fail into a "Stan Point"

  • The Music Cut: Don't look at the staff with "help me" eyes! Keep dancing/singing a cappella like nothing happened. It shows u have an internal metronome and insane confidence.
  • The Sneeze/Cough: Just a quick "Excuse me," a bright smile, and jump right back in. Don't let it ruin your vibe.
  • The Costume Fail: If your shoe flys off (classic lol), just keep going. Finish the choreo with one shoe like a pro.

Have u guys ever had a "disaster" turn into a win? Or what's your biggest "What if" fear? Let's talk it out below!

I’m trying to practice 'Crazy' by Le Sserafim but my vocals sound like i'm on a trampoline lol 😭

I heard some trainees run on a treadmill while singing? does that actually work? or is it better to just focus on core exercises? i want to sound stable like a CD! Give me your secrets!!

So i’m practicing a korean song (Hype Boy lol classic) but i'm worried my accent sounds too 'americanized' 😭 for those of u who already passed or are in companies, do they care a lot about perfect pronunciation at the start?

or should i just focus on my vocal tone and emotion? i don't want to sound like i'm just reading from a book.. help!!

how do u guys keep your hair from covering your face during intense choreo? 💃 my hair literally slaps me in the eyes every time i turn lol. should i just tie it up or is there a secret hairspray brand k-idols use? i want that 'effortless' look!
