I heard that during auditions, scouts sometimes randomly ask u to sing or dance to a specific group's style or a totally different concept on the spot. Like, what if I'm all about that "Girl Crush" vibe but they suddenly ask for something super "Bubblgum Pop" or "Cutesy"? 🍭💔

I’m lowkey terrified of freezing up if I’m not prepared for it. Should I just wing it with a smile, or is it better to honestly say I haven't practiced that style? How do u guys handle those "unexpected" requests without losing your cool? Help!

Guys, I’m lowkey spiraling. I’ve sent like 5 audition videos through email and Google Forms this month, but it’s just... crickets.

Is it even worth it to keep filming these in my bedroom? lol. I feel like if you’re not at a Global Audition in person, they just scroll past your email. I’m literally living in a country where agencies NEVER visit, so online is my only shot.

Has anyone here actually gotten a callback from an online audition? Or am I just wasting my storage space? Also, if u have any hacks on how to make the thumbnail or the first 5 seconds 'pop' so they don't skip, please share! I’m desperate at this point. 🙏

I’ve been highkey obsessed with the new Brit-pop wave lately (think those vibe-heavy, band-sound tracks 🇬🇧). I really want to try this style for my upcoming vocal/performance evaluation, but I’m lowkey scared.

Is it too risky for a K-pop audition? I know they usually look for high notes or super sharp choreo, and Brit-pop is more about the vibe and attitude.

Should I just stick to something 'safer' and more 'standard K-pop' like a power ballad or a trendy dance track? Or do u think the judges will appreciate the unique choice?

Help me out! Should I go for the "Rockstar" vibe or play it safe?

I have a camera test tomorrow and my face always looks so stiff when I see the red light.

My teacher told me to practice the "3 Stages":

  1. The 'Cool/Chic' face (Eyes focused, no smile) 🕶️
  2. The 'Half-smile' (Just the eyes smiling) 😊
  3. The 'Big Bright Smile' (Show your teeth and energy!) 😁 Does anyone have a trick to relax your facial muscles before the recording starts? I don't want to look like a statue!

Does anyone else feel like they’re staring at their own dance video for the 100th time and still can't tell if it’s actually good? lol. We get so used to our own moves that we become "blind" to our tiny mistakes.

I just realized that getting a fresh pair of eyes is the FASTEST way to glow up. Whether it’s your lines, your facial expressions, or even your camera angle—sometimes a 10-second tip from a fellow dreamer is better than a 5-hour solo practice.

My voice is okay, but my hand holding the mic always shakes like a leaf when I’m nervous.

Does anyone have tips on how to look calm and natural? Should I hold it with both hands? Or maybe practice with a heavy water bottle to build muscle? lol. Any secret tricks to look like a pro on stage?

This question always makes me sweat. lol. I want to say "I'd talk it out," but that sounds so boring and fake.

Should I be more honest? Like, "I'd give them space for a day and then buy them coffee"? Or "I'd call a team meeting immediately"? The judges are looking for your EQ here. How do u show that u're a 'Team Player' without sounding like a robot? Help!

Yo, let’s settle the eternal debate once and for all. Every time an audition season rolls around, the group chats go crazy with one question: “Do I need to be a vocal queen or a dance machine to actually debut?”

If you’re currently losing sleep over whether to hit the high notes or hit the floor, here’s the real tea on what’s happening inside those audition rooms. ☕️

I read that memory is strongly linked to smell. So, for my last audition, I wore a very light, fresh "soapy" scent instead of something heavy or sweet.

I wanted the judges to remember me as someone "clean and hardworking." Did it work? I don't know yet, but I felt 10x more confident! Does anyone else have a 'Lucky Perfume'? Or is it better to go scent-free so u don't distract the scouts?

My first audition was a total disaster—I was so nervous I acted like a literal robot, and I still can’t forget the judges' cold faces! 😭 But honestly, after doing a few more, it’s almost becoming addictive. I love feeling myself get better with every try, and that "click" you feel when you finally connect with a judge is the best high ever! My goal is definitely to get that trainee contract, but I’m just so happy that I’ve learned to enjoy the process itself. What was your first audition like? Do you guys have any favorite "breakthrough" moments?
