Am I overdoing it by picking 'Modern Brit-pop' for my next eval?
Iβve been highkey obsessed with the new Brit-pop wave lately (think those vibe-heavy, band-sound tracks π¬π§). I really want to try this style for my upcoming vocal/performance evaluation, but Iβm lowkey scared.
Is it too risky for a K-pop audition? I know they usually look for high notes or super sharp choreo, and Brit-pop is more about the vibe and attitude.
Should I just stick to something 'safer' and more 'standard K-pop' like a power ballad or a trendy dance track? Or do u think the judges will appreciate the unique choice?
Help me out! Should I go for the "Rockstar" vibe or play it safe?
nooo pls go for it!! judges are probably bored out of their minds hearing the same 5 power ballads all day π if u can pull off that brit-pop attitude, uβll stand out so much more. unconventional = memorable.
High notes are cool but having a 'color' is everything. Go for the Rockstar vibe, u won't regret it!
Honestly, picking Brit-pop could be a total 'genius move.' πΈ The industry is leaning so hard into band sounds and 'Y2K rock' vibes right now, so showing you can handle that specific attitude might make you stand out way more than a standard ballad!
