Is my accent okay if i'm auditioning for a global group?
So iβm practicing a korean song (Hype Boy lol classic) but i'm worried my accent sounds too 'americanized' π for those of u who already passed or are in companies, do they care a lot about perfect pronunciation at the start?
or should i just focus on my vocal tone and emotion? i don't want to sound like i'm just reading from a book.. help!!
honestly, they care more about 'charm'! as long as u try ur best, they'll teach u the rest once u get in.
try listening to the song 100 times and mimic the 'mouth shapes.' it really helps with the flow!
dont stress! k-pop is global now. a little bit of accent can be cute and unique!
