Is "Running" too boring of a hobby for auditions?

Hii guys! So I’ve been overthinking my audition prep lately. When they ask "What’s your hobby?", what do u guys actually say? My real hobby is literally just running, but I’m lowkey scared it sounds way too basic.

I don't want to fake a hobby because I’ll definitely have a "jump scare" moment if they ask follow-up questions lol. But I also want to show that "Star Quality" and not just be another face in the crowd. Should I make my running sound more "main character" energy? Like, "running to build my stage endurance" or something?

don't even worry about it being "boring"—just tell them it’s how you build your insane lung capacity for those high notes and intense choreo. it shows you have the discipline and "stamina of a monster," which is exactly the kind of main character energy companies are looking for!

I don’t think it’s boring at all. If you frame it as "building insane lung capacity for live vocals," it sounds so professional. Companies love a trainee who’s disciplined enough to train their stamina outside the studio.

Girl, running is literally THE most 'main character' hobby ever. It shows you have discipline! Just say you run to clear your head and build lung capacity for live vocals. That’s not boring, that’s professional.

Don't fake anything! If they ask 'Why running?' and you talk about the runner's high or the sunrise, it shows your personality. It’s way better than saying 'collecting stickers' just to sound cute.

Remember their documentary where they were constantly working out? Companies LOVE a trainee who actually takes care of their stamina. It's giving 'I'm ready to debut' vibes.
