Since monthly evaluations are coming up next week, everyone at the dorm is on a super strict diet. 😭 But last night, after a brutal 8-hour dance session, my stomach was roaring so loud it was embarrassing. My roommates and I raided the nearest convenience store and came up with a genius low-calorie hack: crushed chicken breast chips mixed with zero-sugar hot sauce and a splash of sparkling water. It tasted like a literal 5-star cheat meal. 10/10 recommend for desperate, starving trainees.
My hair barely hits my neck right now, and it’s definitely limiting my styling options and how my dance lines look on video. I noticed even short-haired idols usually end up getting long hair extensions for their promotions.
But is it super uncomfortable for daily life and practice? I heard the micro-beads can give you insane headaches, and some people say the weight of the hair makes your neck hurt when doing sharp turns. ㅠㅠ If any of you went from a bob to extensions, please let me know if it’s bearable during intense choreo!
I’ve been hiding my winter fluff under oversized hoodies for months, but now that it's warm enough for t-shirts and thin sweatpants, looking at myself in the mirror is a literal jump scare. ㅋㅋㅋ
The urge to start a crash diet is so real right now, but does anyone know a way to lose weight without feeling like you’re about to faint? Trying to dance for 8 hours a day on just chicken breast and sweet potatoes is making my head spin. If I want my skills to level up, I need to eat, but if I want to look good on camera, I have to starve. It’s a toxic cycle. Anyone got any tips for a less painful meal plan? ㅠㅠ
Okay, but the weather today was actual disrespect. I was losing my breath just walking to the studio this afternoon, and trying to dance? My body felt like pure lead. 😭 We had the AC blasting on full, but after just one run-through of our choreo, the floor was literally covered in sweat.
It’s only May, so if it’s already like this, I’m actually terrified for July and August. The casting team is telling us to bring the energy since summer audition season is peaking, but my body is literally liquid at this point. Please remember to stay hydrated, besties. Ice water is non-negotiable today! 😭
Back in my country, I only drank sweet lattes or sodas. But ever since I started training in Korea... "Ah-Ah" (Iced Americano) is literally my blood type now. 💉
I see everyone walking around with these giant plastic cups even when it’s raining. It’s like a magic potion that keeps u awake during those 3 PM vocal theory classes. 😴 Does anyone else feel like they can't function without that bitter bean water anymore? lol. What’s your caffeine limit?
It’s finally happening—I’m moving to Korea next month to start my trainee life! ✈️ It’s a mid-sized agency, but after getting rejected at the final round so many times, this feels like a dream come true. I have a feeling that being in the actual K-pop environment will push me to practice even harder than before. I’m definitely nervous, but mostly just super hyped to start this new chapter in Seoul. Wish me luck, I'm ready to give it my all! 💪✨
Did y'all see the clips from TWICE’s world tour? The energy was through the roof! You can literally tell that every member is genuinely having the best time on that stage. World tours are great for leveling up skills, but the way they connect with fans globally is just on another level of motivation. Watching them perform makes me realize how much I want to experience that kind of bond one day. They are truly the standard for longevity and passion! ❤️🔥
OMG, I just watched ILLIT’s "it’s me" performance and my legs hurt just looking at them! 😭 That choreo is literally a full-body workout and it's insane how they stay so stable. Being a K-idol really means having crazy stamina to pull off those moves while singing live. I’ve been trying to cover it but I’m gassed after like 30 seconds. Mad respect to them for making it look so effortless! ✨
I’m actually so impressed by Wonyoung’s interview skills. Communicating naturally in a second language is so hard, but she made it look easy! 🤯 It really shows how much she must have practiced behind the scenes. It’s inspiring me to stop procrastinating on my Korean studies. If Wonyoung can be a global icon, I can at least master my daily conversation, right? lol. Let’s get that bilingual grind started!
Been studying Wonhee’s facecams today and I realized I’ve been practicing all wrong lol. She uses every single muscle in her face to tell a story. It’s not just "smiling," it’s the way she tilts her head and reacts to the lyrics. If you're struggling with "stone face" during practice, you NEED to watch her. Definitely taking notes for my next eval!
