Surviving late-night practices and shooting audition tapes at the same time is a literal nightmare, crying ㅠㅠㅠ I've been chugging iced americanos daily to stay awake, but now my stomach hurts so bad and the acid reflux is killing me 😭 Are there any good energy-boosting drinks from budget spots near studios ? High caffeine but less harsh than black coffee, and low calorie would be a huge plus!! Please save a fellow trainee and share your holy grail drinks that keep you awake without bloating your stomach 🤍
I was getting so stressed over meal plans lately, but my trainer gave me the best life hack lol It's literally just boiled eggs drizzled with a bit of olive oil every morning, and they said it acts like a natural appetite suppressant!! Honestly, I was skeptical, but the satiety is insane. I don't feel hungry until lunch at all 💀 Whenever my body feels heavy, it totally ruins my dance lines, so maintaining a fasting window was torture—but this keeps my stomach so settled! If you're hit with a plateau right before audition season or need a quick cut, you need to try this rn, highly recommend ✊🔋
For me, MEOVV’s recent university festival performance has been on literal loop ㅠㅠㅠ They are rookies but their live vocals and raw stage presence went so hard, I’m screaming 😭 Whenever I’m monitoring myself in the mirror, I watch them to practice that "main character energy." It’s the ultimate motivation! Drop your go-to videos for studying lines, choreo, or facial expressions below!! Let’s share the inspo and all become idols who absolutely dominate the stage✨
Even with the AC on, the summer practice room feels like a literal sauna, I’m sweating buckets after just one set 😭 I get so thirsty that I end up chugging water, but the problem is when I dance again, my stomach makes this sloshing sound and I feel so nauseous, it completely ruins my lines ,,, My body feels so heavy that my balance falls apart during turns... Can anyone recommend Holy Grail items or hydration packets that absorb fast without bloating your stomach? I desperately need trainee sunbae tips ,,,,,,
Fr though, every time I look at the locker room or the waiting area, literally every trainee has a keycap keychain on their backpack 😭 It’s that keyboard button thing, and the clicking sound is SO strangely satisfying and lowkey addictive ㅋㅋㅋ Clicking it while waiting between choreo sets helps with my anxiety so much, it's literal therapy. I wanna get one too, but should I customize it with my initials or my ult group's logo? Let me know what you guys are rocking on your bags!! ✨
I have a 45-minute bus ride to my high school every morning, and that’s my prime time for memorizing new transitions.
I put my headphones on, close my eyes, and run the choreo frame by frame in my head. But sometimes, without realizing it, my fingers start twitching or my head slightly tilts to the count. My friend caught me doing it yesterday and thought I was casting a spell or something. lol. But honestly, this mental walkthrough helps me fix my messy angles faster than actually dancing! Who else does the 'invisible subway dance'?
’m trying to building stamina and lean muscle for my dance evaluation, so I want to clean up my diet. I see Korean trainees eating chicken breast flats, sweet potatoes, and those neat salad packs from CU or GS25.
But where I live, everything in the grocery store is giant-sized or full of heavy sauces. 🇺🇸 processing costs a fortune here if u buy "organic." Does anyone have a meal-prep routine for a student budget? What’s your go-to protein snack that doesn't ruin your bloating before a tape shoot?
Since I don't have a full-length mirror in my room, I bought those cheap acrylic mirror stickers and glued them to my wardrobe to monitor my choreo.
Worst mistake ever. The lines between the panels make my body look completely disconnected. When I do a wave, my torso goes left but my hips look like they’re in another dimension. It’s messing up my body isolation practice so bad. lol. How do u guys setup your practice mirrors at home without breaking the bank? Or do u just use the window reflection at night?
You know that classic audition interview question, "What is your greatest weakness?"... My trainer told me to NOT say cliché things like "I'm too much of a perfectionist," and now I’m completely lost 💀 But if I share my actual weaknesses like "I procrastinate" or "I pick up choreo slowly," wouldn't that be an instant fail? ㅠㅠ Does anyone have a smart, strategic way to answer this without sounding fake but also keeping the judges impressed? Please save me,,,,
I’m currently putting all my energy into prepping for my round 2 agency audition, like I am locked in 🔥 But my close friend just told me there’s an open spot in their dance crew and wants me to join. Part of me thinks I should focus 100% on the audition, but being in a crew means stage experience and more camera practice, which is also a plus 🥺 It’s a total dilemma and my brain is fried. If you guys were me, would you go all-in on the audition or try to balance both?
