Guys, I’ve been rewatching Cortiz’s music video non-stop, and now I literally want to fly to Korea just to visit all those traditional, gritty locations 😭 There’s something about those old Korean backalleys, traditional roofs, and neon signs that feels so effortlessly hip and aesthetic. Like, you don't even need a massive budget—the streets themselves are the concept. I'm already manifesting my future debut MV being shot in a random, moody Seoul alleyway ㅋㅋㅋ 💀 Anyone else completely captivated by that raw, traditional-meets-modern Korean vibe?
So, I had a 1-on-1 directing session with my vocal coach to prep a video for an upcoming audition, right? I picked a song I was usually super confident in. But you guys... I came back with my mental state completely shattered 😭
I chose it because I genuinely thought it matched my vocal tone perfectly. But my coach was so brutally honest. They told me it was the worst possible song choice because it completely buries my main strength (my deep mid-low bass tone) and only highlights my shaky high notes... ugh. They say song selection is like 80% of passing an audition, and I guess I was way too naive about it.
During the session, they completely restructured a new line for me with a totally different song that fits my tone 100%. It really made me realize how different a professional's eye is 👍 Do you guys usually pick your audition songs alone, or do you always get feedback from others? I seriously need an audition song mate ㅠㅠ
Hey guys, does anyone know about those "keycap keyrings" that are super viral among teens right now? It’s made with a mechanical keyboard blue switch, so it makes this super clicky "clack-clack" sound and lights up every time you press it. I am literally OBSESSED ㅠㅠ
I’ve been keeping it on my dance bag lately, and during waiting times or when I’m stressed, I just mindlessly click it non-stop. It’s perfect for fidgeting, clears my head, and honestly feels like a cozy ASMR ㅋㅋㅋ The other day I was just spacing out and clicking it in the studio, and everyone literally lined up to try it once 💀
I’ve been looking at the styling of the newest rookie boy groups, and the vibe shift is crazy.
A few years ago, every boy group audition required a dark, smoky-eye look, leather jackets, and a heavy hip-hop choreo where you look like you want to fight the camera. ⛓️💥 But now? It’s all about the "Soft/Nerd Boy" vibe. Oversized cardigans, clear-frame glasses, messy hair, and an adorable, slightly clumsy-but-cute smile. It feels much closer to J-pop or Western indie aesthetics. Honestly, I'm so relieved because I look ridiculous in leather pants. lol. Anyone else changing their audition wardrobe to pastel colors?
Guys, I finally went to the popup store and honestly? It’s dangerous. Everything was so cute that I lost all self-control. I wanted to buy the whole shop, but I had to restrain myself so I wouldn’t end up completely broke lol. My bank account is crying rn. Did any of you go? What did you end up getting? Please tell me I’m not the only one who went overboard! 💀
Guys, I finally visited the pop-up store today and omg… I literally lost my mind the second I walked in. The merch looked SO much better in person ㅠㅠ
I was adding everything to my basket like a crazy person, but thank god I snapped out of it right before checking out. If I hadn’t stopped myself, my bank account would be at absolute ZERO right now and I'd be walking to the practice room 💀 Design team really popped off this time. Anyone else went to the pop-up? Show me what you bought, I need to live vicariously through you guys!! 😭🤍
My fave idol was on a reality show yesterday showing their dorm/apartment, and their interior styling was so cozy and kitsch lol ㅋㅋㅋ
Seeing how aesthetic their room looks made me look at my messy locker and practice bag and instantly feel judged ㅠㅠ
Imagine debuting and having to do a room tour but your room looks a total mess, I'd actually evaporate 💀
Where do you guys get room inspo besides Pinterest?
If you have a holy grail decor item or want to flex your own room aesthetic, please drop the tips in the comments!! 🥰
I just read an insider article about recent pre-debut survival shows and major agency rookie evaluations. Apparently, mental health checks have become a core part of the criteria.
They literally give you hypothetical scenarios of online hate speech or toxic fan reactions and monitor your psychological response. In 2026, with the internet being so brutal, companies are terrified of investing millions into a trainee who might break down after one bad viral post. They want to see "Mental Armor." It’s kinda sad that we have to train our minds to be bulletproof before we even hit the stage, but I guess it’s the price of global fame now.
Since commercial dance studios cost like $30/hour in my city, a bunch of local K-pop kids found a crazy loophole.
They are booking the "Multimedia/Presentation Study Rooms" at the big downtown public library for free. Those rooms usually have glass walls (good for reflection), soundproof door seals, and a TV you can connect your phone to for the backing track. 📺🤫 As long as you don't jump too hard to shake the floor, it’s basically a free private studio. Is this happening in your cities too, or is my local community just working on another level of survival?
We had our monthly evaluation choreo check today, and teacher told me that I spend the entire time staring at my own feet in the mirror ㅠㅠ They said looking down makes you look zero confident, and from the judges' perspective, they just see the top of your head, which kills your charm 💀 Even during sharp head turns or spins, you need to maintain that intense eye contact like you're staring down the camera (judges) to show star quality. I was so busy memorizing the steps that I completely forgot about facial acting, but now I see why main character energy is everything. If anyone else struggles with eye contact, let’s stick a post-it note on the mirror and practice staring at it together!! ✊🔋
