Is it weird that I find 'Shoe Squeaks' on the floor satisfying?
I was practicing alone in the studio late last night and I stopped the music for a sec. All I could hear was my heavy breathing and the scuff-scuff of my sneakers on the floor.
Suddenly, it felt like the best ASMR ever. lol. It made me realize how hard I've been working. 😭 Does anyone else find comfort in these "practice sounds"? The sound of the hum of the AC, the clicking of the speakers, or even the snap of your fingers during a count? It’s like the soundtrack of our dreams.

I actually recorded my breathing sounds once to use as an intro for a demo lol.
For me, it's the 'click' when the lights turn off after a long day. Peace at last!
It's the rhythmic sound of a metronome for me. It keeps me sane.
