Why do I look like a Pro in the practice room mirror, but like a Potato on my phone?
Okay, let’s be real. In the studio mirror with the dim lights, I feel like I’m ready to debut tomorrow. My lines look sharp, my hair is messy in a cool way...
But the moment I press 'Record' on my phone, who is that person? lol. The lens makes me look so short and my movements look half-done. Is it the angle? The lighting? Or am I just delusional? 😭 Does anyone have tips on how to make the camera see what the mirror sees?
The '0.5x zoom' is the secret! Move the camera back and use the wide angle, it makes your legs look miles long.
Don't look at your phone screen while filming! Look at the lens like it's the music show camera.
I literally spent an hour just finding the 'magic spot' in my studio. Every mirror has one!
omg i feel attacked!! 💀 it’s literally the 'camera lens betrayal' lol. mirrors are 3D but phones make everything look flat, so u gotta over-exaggerate your angles like 1.5x more than usual.
What I do now is I set my tripod a bit lower (around waist height) and tilt the phone slightly upwards. It makes your legs look miles long! 📏✨
