The 'Honorifics' (Jondaetmal) Dilemma: Don't accidentally be rude!
I made a huge mistake today. I used casual language (Banmal) to a senior trainee because I got confused. π
Even if u're close, always stick to 'Jondaetmal' until they tell u it's okay. Itβs better to be too polite than to be seen as disrespectful! A quick tip: Just add '-yo' (μ) to everything if u're unsure. lol. How do u guys keep track of who is older or a senior? It's so confusing!
Just bow 90 degrees to everyone. Safety first!

The '-yo' rule is literally a life-saver! π‘οΈ Another tip: I actually have a small list on my phone notes with everyoneβs names and their 'Seniority/Age' so I don't mess up
I usually wait for someone else to call them first so I can hear what honorific they use. If I'm still confused, I just bow to everyone lol.
