Stop Comparing Your Behind-the-Scenes!
Is it just me, or does everyone on Instagram look like a "pro trainee" already? Sometimes I scroll through my feed and see these insane dance covers or "I passed the audition!" posts, and I suddenly feel like I’m moving at a snail’s pace. The FOMO is real, guys.
But then I realized—we only post that ONE "slay" moment we caught after 100 failed takes, right? lol. Let’s stop comparing our messy, sweaty practice hours to someone else’s highlight reel. Even if u felt like a "robot" during choreo today, the fact that u didn't give up makes u the Main Character of your own journey.
How do u guys deal with social media stress? Any tips for a "digital detox" while still keeping up with the trends? Let’s support each other! 🤜🤛
My tip for a 'Digital Detox' is to unfollow accounts that make u feel 'not good enough' and only follow people who actually inspire u. Also, I set a timer for 30 mins on Instagram so I don't fall into a scrolling rabbit hole.
Oof, I felt this in my soul! 😭 Living in Australia, I sometimes feel so far from the 'action,' and seeing those 'perfect' Seoul trainees makes me so anxious.
Comparison is the thief of joy, especially in the K-pop world. 😭 We have to remember that a 15-second reel doesn't show the months of sweat and tears behind it!
The 'Main Character' mindset is so important! 🌟 Even a robot can be upgraded with enough practice. Let's just focus on being 1% better than we were yesterday.
