Is it just me or is the pace here actually 2x speed?
I thought I was a fast learner back in LA, but Seoul is on another level. My instructor literally said "Palli-palli" like 50 times today during our 10-minute break transition.
I feel like if I blink, I’m 4 counts behind everyone else. lol. Does it ever get better or am I just destined to be the "slow foreigner" forever? My brain is literally fried trying to keep up with the choreo and the language at the same time. Help a girl out!
Girl, SAME. 💀 I thought I was 'that girl' back home, but Seoul humble-pie hits different. My brain is constantly 3-5 business days behind the choreo.
It’s not that you’re slow, it’s just that the training system here is designed to push you past your limits. Think of it as a crash course in survival dance. In a few months, you’ll go back to LA and feel like everyone is moving in slow motion.
'Palli-palli' is basically just the soundtrack to life in Korea at this point.
Lmao 'Palli-palli' is basically the national anthem of Korea at this point. 🇰🇷 I felt the same way when I first moved! I used to record the lessons (if allowed) and watch them at 0.5x speed at night just to survive lol.
