Do idols really have to be born with "Variety Sense" these days? ㅠㅠ

Guys, I was watching Amazing Saturday yesterday to practice my Korean, and did you see ILLIT Wonhee and Kiya? I was literally watching with my mouth open... They are such pros on stage, but their talk and reactions on the show were so natural and cute. I was like, "Are they actually variety geniuses?"

Honestly, as a trainee, there’s barely enough time to practice singing and dancing. But nowadays, you have to lock in your "character" on variety shows or self-produced content right after debut. It makes me seriously wonder if I should be practicing my comments in front of the mirror too.

My MBTI is I, so I'm super shy and talking in front of people is the hardest thing in the world for me... That unique, quirky, and cute vibe Wonhee has... is that pure talent that can't be practiced? Do you guys do anything specific to improve your variety skills? Or does it just happen naturally once you debut?

Honestly, I feel the same way! 😭 Seeing how natural they are on shows like 'Amazing Saturday' makes me realize that 'Variety Sense' is basically the third pillar of being an idol after singing and dancing.

Being an 'I' type is actually a vibe too! 🧊 You don't have to be loud to be funny. Sometimes the 'shy but trying' character is even more charming to fans. Just look at how many quiet idols became variety icons by just being themselves!
