Be honest... does having an OOTD acc actually help with getting scouted?
Hey guys! Hope everyone’s grinding hard today. So, I started this separate OOTD account just to archive my daily fits and practice outfits, but now I’m wondering if it’s actually worth it for casting.
I’ve heard so many stories about people getting scouted through SNS DM, but do scouts actually look for consistency or is it just pure luck? Does having a clean feed help at all, or am I just overthinking this? lol. If anyone has actually been contacted through IG or knows someone who has, please drop some wisdom!
Consistency is EVERYTHING. Casting managers don’t just look at one pretty photo; they look at your 'vibe' over time. A clean OOTD feed shows that you already know how to manage your 'visual' and style. It’s like a digital portfolio, so keep going!
You need to use the right hashtags so they can find you! #trainee #audition #ootd... and don't forget to tag the big labels occasionally.
Scouts look for 'potential' and 'balance.' If your OOTD shows that you have long lines and good proportions, they’ll definitely save your profile. Avoid using too many filters!
Consistency is definitely key! My cousin got a DM from a recruiter, and they specifically mentioned her 'vibe' was clear from her feed. It's like a 24/7 digital audition, mate!
