Are Horizontal fancams officially DEAD?
I was watching some old 2nd gen fancams and realized how much the industry has changed.
Now it’s all about the 'Vertical' (Portrait) view for TikTok and Reels. As a trainee, I’ve started practicing my choreo specifically for the vertical frame. You have to be so much more precise because the camera is so close! Do u guys prefer the cinematic wide view or the close-up vertical view? Does it change how u dance?
Vertical for the facial expressions, Horizontal for the formation!
I hate how Vertical cuts off the arms and legs sometimes... give me the full view!

So true! Vertical cams leave zero room for mistakes because they're so zoomed in.
