The lyrics in 2026 are like 80% English now. Is this an advantage for us?
I’ve been practicing the latest 5th gen songs for my vocal submission and realized half the tracks don't even require heavy Korean pronunciation anymore.
It’s mostly catchy English hooks with a bit of Korean flavor. 🎶 Part of me feels relieved because I won't get judged on my 'bad accent', but another part of me thinks the judges will expect HIGHER vocal delivery since it's in my native language. What do u guys think? Does this make the entry barrier lower for international girls?
I definitely see it as a massive advantage for us! 5th gen is all about global appeal, and having a native English speaker who can naturally body those catchy hooks and lead global interviews is a huge plus for any agency right now.
