some tips for the 1-min audition video
so i've been researching a lot and watching former trainees' vlogs, and here’s what i found for the 1-minute video:
- Lighting is everything: Don't film against the window. Use natural light or a ring light!
- Hook them in 5 seconds: Scouts watch hundreds of videos. Show your best part first!
- Clean background: Make sure your room isn't messy lol.
- No heavy filters: They want to see your natural face.

The '5-second hook' tip is also so smart. I used to do a long intro like 'Hi, I'm Jena, I'm 15...' but maybe I should just jump straight into the killing part of my dance! 💃🔥 First impressions are everything, right?
