please don't let your face look 10x brighter than your neck lol

okay so i’ve been to a few in-person auditions at big agencies recently, and here is a major tip: match your foundation to your actual skin tone!! i see so many people trying to look super pale and their face ends up ghost-white under the audition room lights while their neck is tan. casting directors lowkey hate that, and it looks so awkward on the camera test screen ㄷㄷ with the 5th gen trend being all about that natural, clean girl aesthetic, less is definitely more. going totally minimal and making it look like you have zero makeup on is the best way to go. just use a light tone-up cream and tinted lip balm!! don't hide your natural charms 🍀🤍

This is such an accurate insight because audition room lighting is unforgiving; keeping your face and neck tones perfectly uniform is essential to protect your natural visuals on the camera test screen.

Matching your skin tone perfectly is a brilliant logic-driven approach to standard evaluations, proving that you have the professional attitude and confidence to showcase your raw, unedited character.

The 5th-gen clean aesthetic heavily relies on that flawless upper-body stability, so avoiding a ghost-white face ensures the scouts focus entirely on your sharp lines and unique aura during the choreo!
