Where do u guys learn actual "Fan Slang"? (I’m tired of sounding like a textbook lol 😭)

I really want to be able to talk to fans naturally during Live streams one day! πŸ’– But honestly, the Korean I learn from books is so different from what I see on Weverse or X.

I see words like "God-saeng" (갓생) and I’m just sitting here like... πŸ‘οΈπŸ‘„πŸ‘οΈ. I don't have any Korean friends to ask, so it’s lowkey frustrating.

Does anyone have a "Holy Grail" source for learning latest memes or Gen-Z Korean slang? Should I just binge-watch idol variety shows or is there a secret "Stan Dictionary" I don't know about? Pls don't gatekeep, let’s help a future idol out!

Honestly, just binge-watch 'Going SEVENTEEN' or 'Run BTS' without subsβ€”you'll pick up slang way faster than from any book! lol

The Weverse comment section is a literal goldmine. Just copy what K-fans are saying to each other and you'll sound natural in no time!

Learning 'Stan Korean' is a whole separate language lol. 🀯 Just keep binge-watching variety shows and pay attention to the editing! Most of the 'Gen-Z' words are right there in the subtitles.
